Background information on the grant

The District of Columbia's Mayor’s Office on Latino Affairs (OLA) is soliciting grant applications from qualified 501(c)(3) community-based organizations (CBOs) serving the District’s Latino residents. Established with a budget of $1,400,000 by Mayor Vincent C. Gray, the FY 2012 Latino Community Development Grant Program offers one-time grants of up to $50,000 to CBOs with a current and valid 501(c)(3) status located in the District of Columbia. The grant funds are intended to enhance existing Latino-serving programs focused on Education (all ages), Workforce Development, Economic Development, Housing Services, Civil Engagement, Legal Services, Crisis Intervention, and Arts, Culture and Humanities.
